Police Scotland: new website available


Following the amalgamation of the police forces in Scotland a new website has been produced.

To access information about South Edinburgh:
* click on the 'Your Community' tab at the top of the web page.  
* Select Edinburgh as the Division
* Select Edinburgh South as the Area Command.

Liquid Paradise - A portrait of Warrender Baths Edinburgh.

This short film made in 2005 is "an evocation of a long-loved Victorian pool through unique archive footage and the memories , routines and strange rituals of regular swimmers and staff at Warrender Baths , Edinburgh." 

Marchmont & Sciennes Community Council part-funded the film.

City of Edinburgh Council: new compliments, complaints and suggestions process

The City of Edinburgh Council have developed a new compliments, complaints and suggestions process.  

Paper forms are also available from the Community Council Secretary.

If you wish you can submit a petition. If you get 500 signatures it'll be considered by the petitions committee and could result in changes to services.
